Join the African American Museum of Iowa in celebrating our reopening with $1 admission all day! This family-friendly day will include self-guided exhibit tours through the Museum’s permanent exhibit, Endless Possibilities, as well as of the Museum’s brand-new temporary exhibit, Thirty Years of the AAMI, an exploration of the Museum’s thirty-year history and exhibits. In addition, patrons will have opportunities to shop at the Museum’s merchandise counter for t-shirts, mugs, books, and other branded items. Opportunities to renew existing membership or become a new member will also be available.
