Join the African American Museum of Iowa for this monthly story time! Each month, we will explore the story of a different African American or group of African Americans and their achievements.
Offerings will take place at 10:00 am (CST) on the second Saturday of each month and will occur virtually until it is safe to meet in person.
Jesse Owens was an African American olympian in track and field and the recipient of four gold medals in the 1936 Olympics Games. Wilson Middle School 7th grade student, Solomon Cassell, will narrate.
