Juneteenth

Thank you for joining us for our 2020 Juneteenth celebration. In place of our annual outdoor festivities, this year’s event will be held entirely online in order to encourage social distancing to limit the spread of COVID-19. Starting June 15, we will be posting videos here that will help you connect with the history and modern significance of Juneteenth. We encourage you to join in the celebration by watching these videos and sharing your at home celebrations with us on social media by tagging @BlackIowa and using #JuneteenthAtHome.
