Extended Hours – Celebrate Alexander Clark
Join us to celebrate the legacy of Alexander Clark and the Iowa Supreme Court decision Clark v. Board of Directors that legally desegregated Iowa’s schools on April 14, 1868. We will have extended hours until 8:00 PM and educational resources for individuals and families to learn more about Alexander Clark. Regular museum admission rates apply to this event. Humanize My Hoodie
The AAMI is proud to announce that we have received funding through the Creating Safe, Equitable and Thriving Communities fund via the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation to bring Humanize My Hoodie to the Museum for a special one-day exhibit on May 21.
