History Adventures – SuperSoaked

July 31, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

- Free

Be sure to bring a swimsuit, towels, and all your favorite water guns for the final session of this Summer’s History Adventures! Kids will learn about Lonnie Johnson, inventor of the SuperSoaker, before heading outside for water warfare! Suggested for children ages 3-13. In case of rain, alternative activities will take place inside.

Please make sure to bring your own SuperSoakers or water guns to this program to ensure that we have enough for each participant.

About the Series:

Last year, the AAMI rolled out its inaugural Children’s Summer Series, with regular programming aimed at teaching our youth about African American history through fun activities. This year’s summer program, History Adventures, will give children the same opportunity to have fun engaging with history. The program will run every other Wednesday in June and July.
