FFD is this Saturday, February 4 from 12 PM-3 PM and is all Free! Admission to the galleries is also FREE from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM.
Explore lots of different types of printmaking at Family Fun Day! Check out our two newest exhibitions featuring different types of printmaking, from wood blocks and screenprints, to lithographs and etchings, and much more! Try your hand at making and using stamps, and creating monoprints with paint. Watch live demonstrations, including screenprinting with The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, relief printing with wood blocks and a printing press courtesy of the UI College of Education’s Art Ed department, and the African American Museum of Iowa will show how Adinkra stamps are used to make Adinkra cloth. FFD is for all ages.
