Choreographer and spoken word artist, L.D. Kidd, returns for a special three event series. The first evening, June 25 will include a live screening of L.D.’s last performance at the AAMI, plus a presentation from him about his inspiration for the piece and its evolution. This event includes a guided tour of Mapping Exclusion: Redlining in Iowa.
Can’t make it on June 25? Join us virtually on July 2 as we share the presentation and prepare you for L.D.’s new material on July 9.
On July 9 we round out the series as L.D. performs his new piece. Learn more about the piece and his process with a Q&A session conducted by AAMI Executive Director, LaNisha Cassell. This event also includes a guided tour of Mapping Exclusion: Redlining in Iowa at 6pm with the performance beginning at 7pm.
Your ticket provides you with admission to all events. Admission is free, but all donations support the AAMI (suggested donation: $25)
